Yesterday was an amazingly beautiful day, so I decided that we needed an outdoor activity. I took apart my light box, took the container outside and filled it with dirt. I added some of his favorite construction cars and a shovel.
The cars were taken out of the box and quickly covered with dirt. I didn’t mind the mess..we were outside!
But, it got REALLY MESSY when the water was added. J went over to the water hose and said “please, please, please!”. Like usual, I couldn’t find a good reason why not.
So we added water to our dirt….
lots, and lots, and lots of water. I lost count somewhere after 10 cups!
J had so much fun! What little boy wouldn’t want to play in dirt?
