I put them on a tray with a bunch of marbles and let J play. His favorite activity is putting things in and out of containers. So, I knew this would be a hit!
He filled them with marbles…
and poured them out…
and stacked them up.
This was a fun and simple activity for J that’s great for fine motor and problem solving skills.
I’m always so happy when I find random things I can use in an activity for J. I’ve used the cups in sensory trays, water play, and with our water beads.
Oh, and have you seen how The Imagination Tree used these same cups with her kids?
What a great idea...i have seen similar cups, now i know i should buy some!
ReplyDeleteI always get a little worried about marbles but perhaps i shall give it a go with the twins when they are feeling better (I have little runny nose bubs just like your header photo at moment, lol).
