It’s been beautiful around here lately, and I knew I wanted to do something outside with J today. So, I laid out a large sheet of white paper and the dot markers on our back porch, I left the rest of the activity up to J.
All the caps must come off first. See those fine motor skills at work?
A few dots were made.
And then the cars made an appearance. J kept running the cars through the small paint dots and he liked the small lines the wheels made. So, I made a few large circles with the paint so he could make better tire marks.
We also made some letters using stencils. I had to help him hold the stencil down, but he made all the letters.
The caps make great blocks too!
I love activities like this where J can freely create however he wants. It is so awesome to sit back and watch to see what he comes up with.
