Halloween is tomorrow! If you look around the blog lately, you won’t see a whole bunch of Halloween activities. We’ve done some, but not many. When it comes to holiday activities, I’m a bit of a slacker/procrastinator. There’s a reason for this though.
I don’t like to start too early. I just like to do a bunch of really fun stuff a few days before the holiday. This way my kids are super excited about the holiday, but they don’t have to wait days or weeks until the big day.
So, I’ve been watching what the other members of the Kid Blogger Network have been doing, and pinning my favorites. Now, I have a list of really simple, last-minute Halloween activities to do with my guys. I’m setting them all up today, and we’re going to have a Halloween blast!
Spider Web Run! We’re doing one that we’ve already done this year. My 3 year old has been asking for this every day since I first did it, so it’s time to do it again!
Monster Stew from Plain Vanilla Mom – Finding activities for an infant and a preschooler to do together is hard. So, I was so happy to see this one from Plain Vanilla Mom! I’m so doing this today for both my boys.
Lego Monsters from Octavia and Vicky – I fell in love with these Lego Monsters from Octavia and Vicky as soon as I saw them and I knew that we needed to make these!
Hand Ghosts from P is for Preschooler – We’re also going to make ghosts! Somehow I made it through my childhood never knowing that you can make ghosts by tracing your hands. Thanks to P is for Preschooler, I now know! I think my guy will really like making ghosts!
Giant Monster Window Art from Twodaloo – Ok, so this might be a bit more complex than the rest of the activities, but I have all these supplies and I know we’ll have so much fun doing this!
Glow Stick Bath – We’re going to end the day by throwing some glow sticks in the bathtub. I know this activity has been around for years, but it’s seriously so much fun, especially for Halloween!
So, that’s how we’re spending our day today. Won’t you join us too? A lot of these activities are super simple, and can be done with things you probably already have.
Happy Halloween!
Come on over to Facebook and Instagram to see how else we play.
